In an announcement, the agency claimed it's alarmed with regard to the higher amount of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The purpose of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some large variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no completely functional office focused on service the area on a regular basis. The provider level developed for intervention experiences a high inflow of probable beneficiaries, which makes it tough for the Workplace to attend to all click here people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more resources to help the servicing of all buyers and improve usage of Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
